If you have Journey Into Power Level 2, Baron Baptiste Live!: Soul of Strength and/ or Journey Into Power then there will be no surprises with The Yoga Bootcamp Box. This is more or less a CD/ Flash card version of the “Journey Into Power” book. If you are familiar with the Baron DVDs mentioned above, the 75 minute version is very similiar. However, this is not a bad thing at all. Now you can take your Baron vinyasa yoga classes anywhere you go. Highly receommend.

Every time I have a great idea or need to create something for my yoga programs, someone else comes along and does it before me. Baron does it again with this power yoga kit. The asana cards are exceptional, the classes and other information truly helpful for a the yogi/yogini new to power yoga.

What an amazing concept. After watching many a video of Baron’s, I thought I would give the Bootcamp box a go. I love it! It really goes into detail everything you would ever need for one of his bootcamp classes, minus the great instructors.
Please keep in mind my perspective is from a Yoga Instructor stand point. This may not be for you, if you have no experience with Yoga at all. Great for those that are familiar with the basics.

I used to practice once a week at a yoga studio. Since we had a new puppy home I decided to try the Yoga Bootcamp Box to continue my practice at home. Having 2 kids, work, and a puppy the short sessions are easy to fit in my busy day. I am now doing the 20mn practice every day and really feel the benefits of a regular 20mn daily practice over the 1 weekly session I used to do.
There are 3 different 20 mn practices so you can work on different areas (vinyassa flow, core or hips) and a longer 75mn session if you have a longer time frame.
There are also flash cards for beginners to look at each pause in details, or for any level to go over a pause we are not familiar with.
These Audio CDs work perfect for me and I think it’s easier to use anywhere than using Dvds. I’ll be traveling to Europe over the summer and want to keep practicing. Dvds wouldn’t work there as the system are different (Pal Secam vs NTSC). With the Audio Cds I can use them anywhere worldwide. All you need is a mat and a CD player or Ipod and that’s all it takes to get started.
I have been at one Baron Baptiste All Day workshop before and I cannot wait to go back! In the meantime, the CDs are perfect to continue on a daily practice.
